Inspiration
The inspiration for ZenZone Ledger came from the growing need for transparency and accountability in the carbon credit market. Traditional systems often suffer from a lack of trust and verification, leading to inefficiencies and fraud. We envisioned a solution that leverages the immutable nature of blockchain to create a transparent and reliable platform for all stakeholders in the carbon credit ecosystem.

How we built it
Blockchain Technology: We built it on Celo blockchain, ensuring secure and transparent transactions. Smart Contracts: Developed to automate the buying and applying process of carbon credits, enhancing efficiency and reliability. Frontend Development: Created a user-friendly interface using Next.js, enabling users to interact with the platform effortlessly.
Challenges we ran into
Integrating Blockchain: Ensuring seamless interaction between the blockchain and our application required extensive testing and optimization. User Experience: Designing an intuitive and accessible user interface was crucial to encourage adoption and ease of use. Security Concerns: Implementing robust security measures to protect user data and transactions from potential threats was a top priority.
