Inspiration
The semester began for us a month ago and we are feeling the stress of it. Therefore, we created Zenpy as a free source for students to alleviate the stress and find strategies against it.
What it does
How we built it
We are all beginners, so we went simple and used VSCode as an IDE and programmed it using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We used ChapGTP to give us ideas in our prompts, help with any mistakes we made, and W3Schools as a resource.
Challenges we ran into
The use of AWS. I am not very familiar with using it, but I do know to basis of creating a bucket. Trying to create a domain name was more difficult than I had expected it to be ( hence why we used the bucket URL).
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud of committing and being able to present our project. We did not finish it, but it was fun to make something of our own that can be used to help others.
What we learned
We learned that building a website was slightly harder than we first expected. We also now know the process of using AWS to create a website.
What's next for Zenpy
Hopefully, we as a team can continue to add onto the project. Maybe one day, it would be a legitimate resource students can use in their day-to-day college life.
