Inspiration

Inspired by students' struggles during exams with accessing resources, creating study questions, and collaborating with peers, we designed Zenotion to streamline resource sharing, automate question generation, and enhance student collaboration for a more efficient learning experience.

What it does

Zenotion is an educational platform that allows teachers and students to share resources, automatically generates study questions using the Gemini AI API, and provides a collaborative forum for students to discuss and share knowledge within their academic domains.

How we built it

Zenotion was built using:

  • Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript for a responsive user interface.
  • Backend: Node.js and Express.js are used to manage requests and API integration.
  • Database: PostgreSQL to store user data and resources.
  • Gemini AI API: For automating question generation from uploaded content.

Challenges we ran into
