Inspiration

The inspiration behind ZenmarkAI came from my personal struggles with managing a growing list of browser bookmarks. I realized that many people face the same challenge of keeping their bookmarks organized and easily accessible. The frustration of wasting time searching for saved websites and the lack of structure in bookmark management led us to create a solution that leverages AI to automate and simplify the process.

What it does

ZenmarkAI is an AI-powered bookmark manager that automatically organizes your browser bookmarks into intelligent categories. It saves you time and effort by sorting your bookmarks within minutes. With features like auto-categorization, multi-browser support, customizable organization, an interactive drag-and-drop interface, and secure authentication, ZenmarkAI transforms the way you manage your bookmarks, ensuring they are easy to find and manage.

How I built it

ZenmarkAI was built using Nextjs for the front-end and Supabase for the back-end. Nextjs was chosen for its flexibility and efficiency in building user interfaces, while Supabase provided a robust and scalable database solution to handle the storage and retrieval of bookmark data.

Challenges I ran into

One of the main challenges I faced was learning a new framework. Nextjs had a steep learning curve, and it took time to become proficient in it. Additionally, integrating AI-based categorization and ensuring compatibility with multiple browsers presented technical challenges that required innovative solutions.
