ZenHabits

Mental health is easy to overlook in today's non-stop society. A survey taken from the US showed that 11% of adults reported symptoms of anxiety or depression from January - June of 2019 (pre COVID), the survey was taken again and showed that 42% of adults reported symptoms of anxiety or depression during December of 2020. This is where ZenHabits can help. ZenHabits is a mobile web app that sends push notifications to the user that reminds them throughout the day to take time to engage in activities that help with their mental health. Some of the activities are: going for a walk, yoga, deep breathing exercises, and more. Although ZenHabits does help with mental health, it is important to mention that it is not a replacement for treatment of severe cases, which should continue to be treated by a professional in that area.
