Inspiration

The backbone of our economy is made of small merchants, yet they are the ones left behind by complex digital tools.

The Spark: While walking through local markets, we saw talented entrepreneurs managing millions in turnover using only a pen and a notebook. They lose time, they lose track, and they lose growth. We built ZenFlow to bridge this gap: giving every small business the power of an AI-driven ERP and a professional web presence with the simplicity of a chat.

How we built it

We built ZenFlow by using the power of MeDo to create a complete and very simple system, based on great key features: The Web Storefront: Thanks to MeDo, every business can instantly create its own public website to display items and announcements. Storefront Monitoring: A built-in tool that allows the manager to track public storefront activity and see how customers interact with their products. The Currency Plugin: A built-in tool used by the entrepreneur to convert items in stock, view prices, and also convert their currency into other prices for easy analysis. The Conversational AI Plugin (J.I.A): This is not a simple text chatbot. This AI is directly connected to the store's inventory. The manager can talk naturally with it to analyze items and understand stock levels in real time. Direct Customer Conversations: An integrated messaging system on the storefront that allows customers to chat directly with the owner without any complicated login requirements. The Stripe Plugin Innovation: Instead of using a single key for everyone like others do, we managed, thanks to MeDo, to create a unique system. Every manager can set up their own Stripe key directly from their account to manage online sales in a simple, effective, and fully independent way. Real-Time Inventory Tracking: An intelligent system that automatically calculates the impact of each sale on individual store stock levels to prevent errors. Document Generation: The app is capable of automatically creating important documents related to sales and shop management. All of this is implemented in a much more vast, smooth, and simple-to-use system without requiring complex knowledge, and many more features that a retail business would need to automate, grow, and emerge. To top it all off, we orchestrated J.I.A’s analytical engine with a dynamic rendering pipeline to engineer the Intelligent Reports section. This instantly compiles thousands of data points from the MeDo database, translates them into visual charts, and cleanly exports them into a structured PDF document.

Challenges we ran into

Building such a comprehensive system in less than a week proved the exceptional power of MeDo. The real challenge did not lie within the technical limits of the platform, but rather in the art of combining complex automated processes without sacrificing speed and simplicity for the end user: Document Generation vs. Real-Time User Interface: Generating professional, customized documents such as invoices or receipts directly from the web interface, while maintaining a smooth user experience, was a major technical hurdle. We had to optimize the generation logic to prevent it from slowing down or blocking the entrepreneur's experience within the app. Balancing Precision and AI Reliability (J.I.A): Integrating multiple logical tools while maintaining the speed and precision of natural language conversation was a delicate task. We had to carefully structure our data flow to avoid information overload for the analysis system (J.I.A), ensuring highly accurate responses from live stock data with zero latency or processing errors. Invisible Complexity for the User: Thanks to MeDo, we were able to deploy heavy backend logic (such as dynamic Stripe key routing and automated individual stock calculations). The actual challenge was strictly on the user side: ensuring that someone with absolutely no complex technical knowledge could navigate this powerful infrastructure smoothly and intuitively.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

To meet the needs of modern merchants, we faced a major dilemma: should we build a standard closed management app, or engineer a globally connected platform? Thanks to the power of MeDo, we successfully solved this dilemma to deliver a complete ecosystem. We didn't just build an app; we built a studio where every entrepreneur becomes the digital architect of their own success. ​We are extremely proud of the following accomplishments: ​Our immense pride in creating a "Mobile-First" design studio for web storefronts: We are uniquely proud to have developed a system that allows an entrepreneur to fully design, launch, and customize their professional website directly from a smartphone. Modifying layouts and shaping the visual identity of their online store right from their fingertips represents an extraordinary achievement for digital accessibility. ​Our immense pride in the online sales innovation via personal Stripe integration on their storefront: It is a major technical pride to have embedded a fully autonomous online sales engine into each storefront website. Enabled by MeDo’s flexibility, every merchant gets a live website capable of capturing revenue directly into their own account using their private Stripe key, turning a phone into a global payment terminal. ​Our immense pride in building a "Friction-Free" conversational ecosystem: We take huge pride in significantly reducing the registration complexity for customers on the storefront. Thanks to a simplified system using a unique ID combined with direct messaging, buyers can quickly get their ID, chat with the store manager, and order instantly—creating a smooth connection between conversations and professional inventory. ​Our immense pride in bringing data to life with J.I.A: Transforming raw stock data into a proactive conversational assistant is a unique reward. We turned a standard product database into a true strategic partner (J.I.A) that speaks natural language, analyzes items, and guides the business in real time. Our immense pride in pushing boundaries with Intelligent Reports: While complex financial reporting was initially out of reach, MeDo’s flexibility empowered us to build an AI-driven professional report generator (Finances, Inventory, Sales, Customers). Entrepreneurs get instant automated charts, key KPIs, and an interactive AI chat to interpret data in real-time all exportable to a polished PDF in just one click.

What we learned

This journey allowed us to gather essential insights, both on the power of modern development tools and on real market expectations: The power of AI with MeDo first and foremost: We learned that combining a person's unique ideas and vision with MeDo’s AI achieves an unimaginable breakthrough. This tool pushes the boundaries of creation, bringing highly advanced concepts to life in record time and proving that humans and AI make the perfect team for innovation. Validation from publishing our results on YouTube and X: Right after publishing our results on YouTube and X, we accumulated a large number of likes and comments. This immediate engagement proves that existing solutions for commercial businesses are still incomplete. As new businesses emerge day by day, every individual vitally needs a space where they feel fully empowered and equipped to grow their activity. Our key technical takeaways to finish: This journey allowed us to master complex, modular system architectures. We learned how to integrate advanced communication and financial plugins (Stripe) in a completely dynamic way for each independent user, while optimizing data processing to eliminate any user interface latency.

What's next for ZenFlow

Our roadmap is simple: Every new feature must solve a real-world problem, and accessibility will never be a luxury. Today, we are actively looking for strategic partners capable of helping us rapidly scale and deploy this solution to millions of merchants. Too many sellers are still asking themselves: "Why do I have to pay so much for a website, so much for management, so much for this and that?", only to end up trapped in complex systems that drain their energy. They spend all their time worrying about expenses instead of focusing on their direct growth. ZenFlow is here to change that, and here is what’s next: Staying and growing on MeDo as long as possible: This is our absolute priority. We want to keep building ZenFlow on MeDo so we don’t waste our time writing and debugging 15,000 lines of complex code. MeDo gives us the technical freedom to spend 100% of our time brainstorming, coming up with innovative ideas, and perfecting the app for our users. The "Universal Business ID" (UBI): We aim to turn ZenFlow into a global standard where any small business can have a verified, professional identity that connects them directly to international markets and suppliers. Pushing AI Boundaries: We are working on evolving the J.I.A from a reactive assistant to a predictive partner. Imagine an AI that doesn't just analyze your stock, but predicts market trends and suggests orders before you even run out. Commitment to Accessibility: No matter how powerful ZenFlow becomes, it will always be designed to run on the simplest smartphone. Our goal is to ensure that an independent street vendor and a well-established boutique owner have access to the exact same world-class technology.
