Mental health month is at its end and our team was intent on making sure that although its 'monthlong hype' might be over, the real struggles of mental health faced by thousands all around the world are still very much existing. This weekend's hackathon theme was "gaming", so we decided to have our take on it (although somewhat non-traditionally). We wanted to keep the feels of winning, the high that follows from doing great at a task and actually use that as a motivation to have people help each other. Through our app, we have a gamified rewarding system for accolading anybody to either stick to their own healthy mental activities or for helping someone else.
