I run ZD Printing, so I use the workflow from both sides: the customer-facing website and the work of getting a print made and delivered.
The platform uses Django and PostgreSQL for enquiries, file uploads, quoting, Stripe payments, bookings, order management and customer communication. A job still needs CAD or file preparation, slicing, FDM or resin printing, checking, finishing and fulfilment.
This is an operating business, with ongoing improvements to the software and production workflow.
