Inspiration
When I was young,I saw people killing wild animals recklessly only for their greed and cutting trees in the name of development!At that time,I wanted to report those to the authorities but I didn't knew what laws existed to protect our environment! But now I know and want to spread awareness regarding it to everyone who wants to learn laws that protect our ecosystem and biodiversity!
What it does
It's a chatbot that can answer to your questions and queries on legal provisions that exists in India regarding protection of wildlife & environment in a comprehensive and friendly manner!
We have also included wildlife laws of international organisations also!
We also have a game development component along with it to inspire children also!
How we built it
We built it using botpress studio & Unity software for gaming!
Challenges we ran into
We faced many challenges like finding a trustable source of legal information and regarding its implementation in a simple yet powerful form!
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We have spread legal awareness amongst our peers and college friends! We have successfully made our first AI based chatbot!!
What we learned
We learrnt team collaboration,editing and presentation skills,AI skills,programming and gained some really useful legal knowledge also!
What's next for ZARA,Your legal assistant
We plan to keep it open source so that everyone can access it and know the legal laws that exist in India regarding wildlife protection and want to educate every kid and adult about it!
We also plan to expand its content beyond Indian laws and also include International laws and laws of different countries in it also.
We can also create a group of activists,educationists and advocates who can also answer to people's questions in a separate forum here attached to the chatbot in future versions!!
