As part of Bonnie Billet Horticulturists in NYC I have been designing rooftop, terrace Backyard and Entrance Gardens for many years. We use Sketchup to make 3d models of our proposed gardens. This allows us to place different trees and shrubs into the garden design one by one. I have always thought the ideal scenario would have the client watch the garden elements being placed and tell us how they feel.
The glasses will enable this process at the garden site. The gardeners will display their ideas and the clients will Zap what they don't like. Both sides will be more focused by the immediate feedback. They can save and print a list of what has been agreed on.
This can also allow the home gardeners to try out different trees in their gardens.
The whole family can pass the glasses around until they agree on what they want in the garden.
