Inspiration
We saw how traditional AI-generated videos lacked structure and creative control, often leading to disjointed results. Zaddy was born to put the power back in the hands of creators.
What it does
Zaddy takes a script and transforms it into a detailed, consistent storyboard, allowing creators to maintain full control over the visual narrative before moving to video production.
How we built it
We built a web-based prototype using OpenAI to break down scripts into scenes and AI/ML API to generate images. We are planning to use Premai.io for RAG knowledge retrieval and Sambanova for faster inference. Zaddy ensures each scene maintains a cohesive aesthetic and structure.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge was ensuring visual consistency across scenes, as AI-generated images often varied. We overcame this by applying a unified aesthetic style for each project.
Accomplishments that we’re proud of
We successfully developed a working prototype that turns any script into a cohesive visual storyboard, empowering creators to retain their artistic vision from start to finish.
What we learned
We learned the importance of storyboarding in the creative process and how essential it is to provide creators with tools that ensure structure and clarity before jumping into video production.
What’s next for Zaddy: make AI films look much more real!
We plan to enhance Zaddy’s capabilities by refining AI-generated visuals and pushing the boundaries to make the resulting films look even more lifelike and polished.
