Inspiration

Networking is important, but it’s hard to remember details about everyone you meet. Conversations happen across many platforms, and people often forget what was discussed or how to follow up.

We wanted to create a tool that helps people remember conversations, understand connections, and stay in touch more easily.

What it does

Z Network is an AI-powered networking assistant that helps users manage their professional relationships.

It analyzes conversations and creates useful insights like: -conversation summaries -interests and goals of contacts -suggestions for follow-up messages -reminders to reconnect -It also suggests topics to talk about based on past conversations.

How we built it

We built Z Network as a modern web app using: React + TypeScript + Vite for the frontend Tailwind CSS for the interface LocalStorage JSON system for authentication and data storage Google Gemini 2.5 Flash to analyze conversations and generate insights

Challenges we ran into

One challenge was figuring out how to turn messy conversation text into meaningful insights. We needed to design a system that could extract useful information like interests and projects.

Another challenge was keeping the platform simple while still providing helpful AI features.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We’re proud that we built a working platform that can analyze conversations and generate useful networking suggestions.

The dashboard makes it easy to see contacts, review past conversations, and get ideas for how to reconnect.

What's next for Z Network

In the future, we want to: integrate directly with LinkedIn and messaging platforms add smarter AI insights and relationship tracking build notification systems for follow-ups allow real-time conversation analysis
