Inspiration
Our inspiration came from the fact that we noticed that Child Poverty is on the rise in Canada, the statistics say that 1 in 5 child in Canada is below the poverty line. Thus, to solve this problem we wanted to make a Web App for the vulgarization of Government youth programs to the youth in need.
What it does
Our platform indicate to the young user the appropriate government program based on his situation.
How I built it
We build the product in a team setting, we used language such as HTML, CSS, PYTHON to ensure a proper front-end and back-end development. We have also worked on the design to make sure the youth can use the platform with ease.
Challenges I ran into
We ran into challenges such as the Web scraping process, the connection of multiple coding languages such as Python and HTML.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We are proud of the effort we have put into this product to actually solve a real Canadian social problem. If implemented our product can have a substantial impact on the lives of many young people, that's what is making us proud!

What's next for YouthSavy
Next step is to deploy the platform throughout North-America and then the World, to position ourselves as global leaders in solving social problems. Also we can iterate and increase the scope of our platform to other areas such as sustainable development of our cities.
