Inspiration

Was inspired by CRUD Api design and basic database management

What it does

Functions as a basic backend for managing events and volunteers

How we built it

Mainly Django, in which we used their CRUD API support to build a basic backend and a basic frontend to demonstrate its functionality.

Challenges we ran into

Had to learn Django from scratch. Most of us are fairly inexperienced in programming.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Managed to figure out the basic of Django's MVC Design.

What we learned

The pure basics of Django along with some basic design principles for CRUD and backend development.

What's next for Youth4Good Event/Volunteer Backend

Likely a better backend for support for volunteers with more detail, along with better management of said volunteers.
