🚀 Youth Challenge Hub 🌟 Inspiration We saw teens zoning out during traditional financial literacy classes. They were bored, unmotivated, and missing critical skills for adulthood. Inspired by games like “the floor is lava” and shows like “Squid Game,” we wanted to create a high-energy, interactive experience where teens could actually feel money decisions and build skills that stick.
🛠️ How We Built It We built Youth Challenge Hub using a mix of AR tools and physical obstacle course elements. The digital side uses simple AR scavenger hunts to match terms and financial concepts, while physical games — like blindfold cash grabs and relay races — simulate budgeting, saving, and teamwork under pressure. We used Glide to quickly prototype the web-based components, and brainstormed station challenges for easy replication.
