we got inspiration from the carbon footprint calculator website
What it does
the website has a survey that calculates your carbon footprint and gives you personalized improvements to your daily life to reduce your carbon footprint There is a notification tab in the navigation bar that give daily advice for you to reduce your carbon emissions
How we built it
we used Taipy to build it we used CSS to style it the languages we used are Python and CSS
Challenges we ran into
In this event, we faced many challenges such as learning Taipy for the first time in under 24 hours, embedding Python code within the website, and many smaller issues
Accomplishments that we're proud of
we accomplished trying to change a page dynamically we accomplished working well together to produce a product that every one can be proud of
What we learned
We learned how to use a lot of things, such as Taipy, but also personal skills such as determination and collaboration. We learned how to affective use different languages like CSS and python
What's next for YourCarbonFootPrint
we will add a game that visually shows the impacts of your carbon input We will add more complex analysis on how to reduce your carbon footprint in many different ways
