AI CFO Development Story

This idea of making an AI CFO (Chief Financial Officer) came to me because when me and my friends tried to run an ecommerce business, our major concern was financial management. When starting the business, our major concern was financial management - we all are from engineering backgrounds hence we lacked the budget management skills here. To include a financial officer was way too much of our budget.

Luckily I came across the hackathon hosted by Bolt. I immediately thought of creating an AI CFO and with the help of Bolt I was able to make one.

Conclusion

This experience taught me that sometimes the best solutions come from addressing your own pain points. By building an AI CFO, we not only solved our immediate financial management challenges but also created a tool that could help other engineering-focused startups facing similar obstacles. The hackathon provided the perfect opportunity to turn a real business need into a functional solution, demonstrating how AI can democratize access to specialized expertise that would otherwise be out of reach for early-stage companies.
