Inspiration
Imagine being down with pain so bad that you can't step out of your home, and there is no one around to help either. Scary right? Our application intends to solve this problem which allows a person to chat with a doctor from his phone, and order medicines.
What it does
- Users can choose their symptoms get a list of suitable medicines along with review of each medicine.
- Users can chat live with doctors.
- Users can rate the medicne after they used it
- An all round mediguide you need for use.
How we built it
- We used Figma to create a simple wireframe of the website.
- We used HTML, CSS and Javascript to build the website.
- We shared code via GitHub.
- We deployed the website using Github Pages.
Challenges we ran into
- As 2/3 members of our team were beginners in web development and had little or no experience of Hackathons, taking up this project was pretty challenging.
- We ran into several issues while coding and pushing code to repositories, which we solved with each others help
- One of the biggest challenges was collaborating on one project along with four people. However, we were able to divide up tasks. We hung out on Google Meet to talk about any problems we ran into and shared our thoughts and random ideas as well.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
- We are proud that we were able to develop a website with most of of the functionality we had planned on achieving and enjoyed tackling the issues and bugs as a team! We learnt a lot of things in just 36 hours.
What we learned
- We learned how to collaborate and work in a group
- we learned time management as all of our teammates are in diffrent part of the country.
What's next for Your Mediguide
We would be looking to add more features, like the option to have video consultation with a doctor
