GOAL: Provide a fun and educational way of learning about Influenza!DESIGN/Operation:: designed as a "single page" application (UX factor) or "dashboard": cross-browser compatible (tested in latest Firefox, Opera, Chrome, and IE): automatically sizes to the user's browser window size (and on window resize), displaying the states map as the "background": Attempt to educate the user on application entry    - Informs of the recommended yearly flu shot    - Collects an answer from the user about yearly flu shot (the app knows the user's state)FEATURES:: Automatically guesses(accurately) what state the user is from and uses this to track the "Flu Shot" question stats.: Interactive background of the U.S. detailing current weekly influenza report: See and compare weekly influenza trends between any U.S. states by clicking on them to add/remove from the line graph (influenza history).    - Practical uses: when traveling, could be useful to see the trends where traveling    - Fun uses:       see your state compared to friends/family states: Read the latest Podcasts, Flu Updates, and CDC Influenza Syndication content    - all data is from CDC sources listed on contest website (3 feeds)    - all content is searchable with instantly filtered results!    - content opens in a modular window to allow the user to stay within the application until ready to leave: Podcast and Flu Updates features    - Podcast: opens in a resizable dialog window and automatically starts playing the audio, allowing the user to browse AND listen    - Tool to share the page with any common service: facebook, twitter, email, etc.  (using AddThis)DATA SOURCES:: Using the following CDC Sources    - http://www.cdc.gov/flu/weekly/flureport.xml    - http://www2c.cdc.gov/podcasts/searchandcreaterss.asp?topic=flu    - http://www2c.cdc.gov/podcasts/createrss.asp?t=r&c=20    - http://t.cdc.gov/feed.aspx?tpc=26829&days=90
