your blackbox

Inspiration

Inspired by traditional black boxes used in airplanes to record everything that happens during flight so that in case of an accident investigator can figure out what happened and prevent future incidents.

What it does

You can place the blackbox inside your shipping package (or truck, for commercial use) and it records everything that happens to the container, if it was thrown, if it falls down, when it's moved, is it upside down, the temperature, humidity and etc.

When the package arrives you can use your smartphone to pair with the blackbox via bluetooth and read off this information.

So when your package arrives broken, or mishandled, you know who to blame.

How I plan to built it

Hardware

• Arduino 101 that has a built in acceleromater + ble,
• Templarture and humidity sensor
• Battery
• Real time clock ### Software
• React-Native for the app that read the information from the black box via BLE and sents it to a server to store / analyze
