Inspiration

I wanted the domain youarenow.online, and I grabbed it easily. The site currently hosted there is more of a meme than anything else, but all of my other project ideas were exploding beyond the scope of my skills, so for now, here we are.

What it does

It's just a webpage being hosted on my own server, but I've never done something like this before.

How I built it

Using Notepad++, it was a relatively simple process of building the HTML file and the CSS.

Challenges I ran into

Getting Apache set up was a little bit of a run-around, but otherwise it wasn't too bad.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

I got the DNS records set up the right way on the first try!

What I learned

How domain sites actually work, like how they do their thing.

What's next for You are now online!

Mastodon instance? Personal webpage? I don't know! It's pretty much my playground to mess with.
