Inspiration

Darrens bike was stolen and he wanted to create a project to prevent bike theft.

What it does

Helps prevent bike theft, alerts when bike is being stolen.

How I built it

Using Arduino technology and simple sensors and to achieve better lock.

Challenges I ran into

Getting the Arduino to connect to a smartphone via Bluetooth.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

Password reset system and a (mostly) bug free code.

What I learned

How to become more efficient in coding style and how to manage priorities to complete a job on time.

What's next for York bike lock

To make it better by implementing Bluetooth technology down the road.
