Inspiration

It is really tough to go through many research articles for doing a presentation. We thought that we should have a blog where we can go and find out articles relevant to us and go through the research articles later.

What it does

Users can login to the application, read articles and write articles. An admin will go through the content and publish the article to the blog. Until an article is published, it will be in pending status where the article will be only shown to the owner.

How we built it

We have used react with typescript to design the UI. And connected it to the firestore database. Github is used for the repository and firebase is used for deployment.

Challenges we ran into

We have mainly faced challenges with hosting. We have tried using a different database and another technology for services, but there are multiple issues while hosting them with free subscriptions. As we are getting more options in google firebase, we have started consuming the services provided in firebase and designed our app.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Within a short span of time, we have tried developing an app that can be scaled into a bigger version that is more helpful to the students.
