Inspiration

Small business owners, shopkeepers, and freelancers often struggle to track daily sales, expenses, invoices, and multiple bank accounts without complex enterprise ERPs. We built Yesri Finance to empower entrepreneurs with a modern, lightning-fast, and premium financial bookkeeping tool that works seamlessly on mobile devices with offline-first capabilities.

What it does

Yesri Finance is an all-in-one financial and money management powerhouse:

  • Daily Business Tracking: Real-time tracking of sales, expenses, bills, and purchases.
  • Smart Invoicing: Professional invoice creation with due-date tracking, automatic reminders, and PDF generation.
  • Multi-Banking & Currency: Country-specific banking integration, account balance reconciliations, and cash drawer management.
  • Comprehensive Reports: Instant Profit & Loss statements, Cash Flow summaries, and Balance Sheets.
  • Data Security: Encrypted local storage with secure cloud backup and restore.
  • Yesri Pro via RevenueCat: Seamless monetization with flexible monthly and annual subscription plans that unlock multiple business profiles, cloud backups, and an ad-free premium workspace.

How we built it

  • Frontend & Core: Built using Flutter and Dart for a smooth 60fps native experience with a custom neumorphic design system.
  • Local Persistence & State: Drift / SQLite for rock-solid offline-first data persistence and Riverpod for reactive state management.
  • Monetization & In-App Purchases: Integrated RevenueCat SDK (purchases_flutter) to handle Google Play billing, subscription status verification, and dynamic offerings.
  • Scheduled Notifications: Custom background task scheduler for daily growth nudges, invoice due dates, and month-end summaries.

Challenges we ran into

  • Cross-Platform In-App Purchase Architecture: Handling Google Play Console subscription base plans, edge cases with active entitlements, and network latency during store billing calls. RevenueCat drastically simplified this by abstracting store billing into clean unified listeners.
  • Timezone-Aware Background Notifications: Ensuring that daily business tracking reminders fire reliably without draining battery or requiring heavy background workers.
  • Offline Data Integrity: Synchronizing local transactions and financial records reliably while maintaining snappy local query times.

  • Complete financial suite (invoicing, banking, inventory, reporting) packed into a modern, easy-to-use interface.

What we learned

  • How powerful RevenueCat is for managing subscription lifecycles, paywall testing, and cross-platform entitlements without maintaining dedicated backend billing servers.
  • Best practices in structuring financial state, multi-currency ledger systems, and compliance requirements for business apps.
