Inspiration
Relative proximity detection mechanics like in games that implement it.
What it does
Sends 4 supersonic "chirps" in the 4 cardinal directions and calculates the distance away from the relative position of the device. When the calculated distance is below a certain threshold, it "trips" and displays which direction the threat is approaching from.
How we built it
Using 2 Arduino UNOs (Elegoo R3 UNO) and 4 HR-SR04 sensors. Along with a cardboard construct to act as a shell for the project.
Challenges we ran into
Sensor readings overwriting each other, and communication between 2 Arduinos.
