Inspiration
Yemca is built to solve the challenges faced by lenders which limits their access to loans. we solve the problem of inadequate credit system, poor borrowers verification, inefficient method of fund distribution and lack of access to lenders.
What it does
Yemca is an online platform where business owners can store their business information and credit history, receive funds through Stellar network, take credit worthiness assessment and also carry out business-to-business borrowing.
How we built it
We build Yemca is build with android studio using Java language We incorporated the Kiva protocol for our external identification system
Challenges we ran into
There was no much technical guidelines in building our solution
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We built the first mobile app for our business during this hackathon.
What we learned
We have learnt how Kiva works and the effectiveness of micro lending in poverty alleviation
What's next for Yemca
We are going to be doing user testing of our solution by 12 of Novermeber and we build our main product by February 2022
