What it does
Predicts number of stars given user reviews
How I built it
Vectorized text reviews using doc2vec, and organized other features for better representations.
Challenges I ran into
Vectorizing text data -- all team mates were new to NLP so we had to learn how to clean up and process text data
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
First time tackling an nlp problem and we got some decent results
What I learned
Next time, utilize our domain knowledge and expertise. Also give some thoughts to possible projects before actual events.
