Overview
yc0n1c’s is an actual startup.
It is the worlds first AI Venture Capitalist.
for this hackathon, we create the yc0n1c’s Proof of Scale Agent. Prior to this hackathon, we were leaning toward having startups manually submit sales, scaling, metrics and kpi data.
By using a2a, we are now able to have our agents connect directly to customer scaing data and have our agentic venture capital make funding decision, but also identify and communicate trends, issues and opportunities to startup founders.
Inspiration Startup founders often get judged based on relationships, not results. We were inspired to flip the model: what if capital followed proof, not pitch decks? This project was born from the belief that AI agents, with real-time access to startup traction data and external market signals, can autonomously trigger capital disbursements when startups truly earn them. The sponsor tools provided a rare opportunity to build that vision into production, showing how context-aware, ambient agents can scale fairness and precision in startup funding.
What it does yc0n1c is the world’s first A2A-powered autonomous venture agent. It continuously monitors real traction data, revenue growth, user activation, sentiment, and triggers capital deployment workflows when specific Proof-of-Scale (PoSc) milestones are met. Powered by agents that collaborate and contextualize data in real time, yc0n1c issues transparent, explainable recommendations to fund or pause a startup’s growth. This system doesn’t wait for a pitch, it listens ambiently and acts with logic, context, and governance baked in.
How yc0n1c Uses A2A Tech to Power Its AI-Driven Startup Traction Evaluation and Funding Logic The system includes multiple intelligent agents that ingest startup telemetry from Stripe, MongoDB, Mixpanel, HockeyStack, Arcade, and Bright Data. Once revenue or activation signals hit defined thresholds, Temporal logs a milestone. Claude or Mistral generates explainable reasoning. Senso.ai summarizes it, and Vault Inbox submits it for human approval. Behind the scenes, A2A logic enables secondary agents to step in, optimizing onboarding flows, recommending GTM strategies, or triggering advisory events instead of capital disbursements.
Ambient Agent 1: Revenue & Sentiment Monitoring Agent This agent detects revenue growth by pulling from Stripe + MongoDB and contextualizes the spike using HockeyStack(user behavior analytics) and Bright Data (external sentiment). It verifies growth isn’t just a spike, it’s tied to real user engagement and market buzz. It then generates a “Revenue Growth PoSc Event,” triggering a fast-track funding proposal. Flow: Stripe: $18K → $27K MRR over 45 days HockeyStack: Growth tied to Feature X usage Bright Data: +400 mentions, 87% positive sentiment Claude: “Growth is sustained and externally validated” Senso.ai: “Recommend $15K for sales expansion” Vault Inbox: “Approve capital release?”
Ambient Agent 2: New Customer & Sentiment Monitoring Agent This agent monitors the user acquisition funnel. When new signups surge (e.g., 250 new accounts in 30 days), it uses Mixpanel to confirm activation rates, Arcade to verify onboarding completion, and Bright Data to track external sentiment. It calculates engagement health and either triggers funding or routes the event to a Retention Agent. Flow: MongoDB: 250 new users, 2.5x average Mixpanel: 70% activated in <72 hours Arcade: 68% completed onboarding arcades Bright Data: Social buzz confirms organic growth Claude: “Customer traction milestone validated” Vault Inbox: “Recommend $10K unlock for onboarding scale”
How we built it We built agents using a modular architecture combining Temporal for workflow management, MongoDB for data persistence, Claude + Mistral for logic generation, and Senso.ai for human-readable insight delivery. We integrated sponsor technologies like HockeyStack, Mixpanel, Bright Data, and Arcade into our core evaluation loop. Each milestone event is logged, evaluated, and routed via our Vault Inbox governance system.
Challenges we ran into Managing multi-source data fusion (Stripe, MongoDB, Mixpanel, Bright Data) Designing agents that could collaborate (not compete) across A2A workflows Building production-grade logic into milestone approvals under a 48-hour sprint Ensuring explainability without sacrificing agent autonomy
What we learned We learned that by using A2A, we can automate sales and customer growth monitoring tasks that would’ve been impossible to do at scale manually. We also saw how external and internal data streams, when unified, form a complete picture of startup health. Agents can independently reason, validate, and collaborate on funding decisions, unlocking a new standard for transparency and merit in venture capital.
What's next for yc0n1c’s A2A-Powered Startup Scaling, Evaluation & Funding Agents We’ll launch pilot programs with early-stage startups to validate our milestone detection accuracy and funding impact. Next, we’ll add multi-agent committees to assess not only sales and sentiment, but churn risk, CAC efficiency, and retention viability. Long-term, we’ll move toward onchain smart contract disbursements and expose agent APIs that allow any startup to plug in and receive funding based on performance, not pedigree.
