Inspiration
FarCry 6 has many uniquely designed vehicles that are made out of scrap metal and other junk parts from around the island of Yara.
What it does
The Yaride Motorcycle could be used to ride around the island of Yara.
How we built it
The bike was designed and modeled in Maya and high res details were sculpted in Zbrush. The model was then brought over to Substance Painter for texturing. I took it one step further and added it to a Mad Max style environment I designed in Unreal Engine 5.
Challenges we ran into
Getting the poly count down to around 25k was a difficult task, but one I was able to achieve by making sure I removed all of the dense geometry that did not add much to the design.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
I am proud of the realistic textures I designed in Substance Painter.
What we learned
I learned about the design and functions of Motorcycles. On top of this I got more practice adding imperfections to hard surface models in Zbrush.
What's next for Yaride Motorcycle
I would like to add animations to the model and possible vfx for the headlight.
