Inspiration
On researching about female entrepreneurship we learned that women are much more likely to start businesses and those businesses are more likely to be profitable. On the other hand, female founders only gained 2.3% of the $69.1 billion in capital funding in 2020! There's clearly a problem here.
What it does
XXAllies connects female investors and small business owners from all around the world. Investors will be paid back in relation to the amount of the business that they own based on their investment. This encourages more female investors and business owners.
How we built it
We designed and prototyped it using Figma.
Challenges we ran into
Our backend designer was unable to fulfill her role.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud that even though we ran out of time, we got a prototype working!
