My name is Stephanie, and at 55 years old, I've turned one of life's worst experiences into a mission for privacy and data protection. When my identity was stolen, I faced a harsh reality: there was nobody out there to truly help me. Traditional systems had failed, and I realized that data protection wasn't just important—it was essential for everyone's future.

That devastating experience became my catalyst. I dove headfirst into learning DeFi on the XRP Ledger, determined to understand how blockchain technology could solve the problems that had personally affected me. But the deeper I went, the clearer it became: Know Your Customer (KYC) processes and true data protection simply weren't possible without smart contracts that could preserve privacy while enabling compliance.

The blockchain space is unfortunately filled with tribalism, hate, and distrust between different ecosystems. The XRPL community and the Cardano/Midnight community often view each other with suspicion, missing the incredible opportunities for collaboration and mutual growth. This division breaks my heart because I've experienced the best of both worlds.

Having learned DeFi on XRPL and now developing on Midnight, I've seen how these communities could complement each other perfectly. XRPL's efficiency and payment focus combined with Midnight's privacy-preserving smart contracts could create something revolutionary—if only we could build bridges instead of walls.
