Inspiration

Education today is still largely 2D and passive, making it difficult for students to understand complex concepts like human anatomy, physics systems, or programming logic.

We were inspired by the idea: 👉 “What if students could step inside the concept instead of just reading about it?”

With the rise of XR technologies and AI, we saw an opportunity to create a fully immersive learning experience where users can interact with concepts in real-time using 3D environments

What it does

XRLearn AI is an AI-powered immersive learning platform that allows students to:

Explore concepts in 3D XR environments Interact with models (rotate, zoom, trigger animations) Learn from an AI-powered virtual assistant with voice guidance Experience education through active participation instead of passive reading

How we built it

Challenges we ran into

  1. Performance Optimization

High-quality 3D models slowed down rendering. 👉 Solution: Reduced polygon count and optimized textures.

🎮 2. Interaction Design

Making interactions intuitive in XR was challenging. 👉 Solution: Focused on simple gestures like click, hover, and rotate.

Synchronizing AI voice with actions required tuning. 👉 Solution: Used pre-processed voice responses for smooth playback.

📚 4. Making Learning Clear

Not all immersive experiences are educational. 👉 Solution: Added structured explanations + guided flow.
