XR Tutor

Inspiration

We wanted to make a tutor at a PhD level math professor available to anyone at any time.

What it does

This project checks your work as you are doing it constantly and tells you when you make a mistake.

How we built it

We used Lens Studio.

Challenges we ran into

The Specatcles camera was not as good as we hoped. This caused the model to hallucinate quite a bit and not give great results.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud we found partial workarounds for the model using prompt engineering.

What we learned

We learned Typescript and game development type features.

What's next for XR Tutor

XR Tutor could be a market level project with Spectacles 2026 new product drop. With continued support from Snap Lens updates the project could go very far as an education tool.
