Inspiration
Linus Torvald is my biggest inspiration as his a living legend when it comes to building software that directly co-relate with hardware.
What it does
Its a simple shell like terminal that helps you with navigating through files, listing directories, parsing files and many more functionalities.
How we built it
Xi9d Shell is completely built by the rust language with the core functionalities made from scratch. Like the ui component, shell state component, the command executor completely separate for a scalable system.
Challenges we ran into
Learning a new language and building a system from it is always a challenge but one that grows you. So my challenge actually grew me rather than affect me.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Finishing the major parts of the system and pushing the code.

Everything we use is built and if not built correctly i easily breaks , so build from scratch as you more on
What's next for Xi9dShell
Improving the ui and refactor the code base, maybe finding some contributors to improve it with me .
