XDC Social Media Web 3.0

Inspiration

We get inspired while blockchain technology where it provides good security and better encryption. We learnt a lot of stuff and a new topic with less guidance and sources, which increased the hunger to learn more.

What it does

Here we come up with a better secured social platform to avoid creating fake accounts, infiltration of data and prevent data loss.

How we built it

As we were running out of time, we divided into teams and one team took charge of the front-end, another team got into the smart contract and back-end connectivity. Luckily we were having the knowledge of front-end and back-end so we rushed to learn about the smart contract(Solidity).

Challenges we ran into

When we got into project we did not get a single resource and didn't know where to start from and how to start, simultaneously we were running out of time. Luckily we got stuff from GitHub, Telegram and other platform. However we first started to learn what blockchain concept was and got a good knowledge about it. When we get into the topic of smart contract we learned a new language called Solidity which was seen easier.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Finally we obtained the project successfully and we were glad that at least we had learned a new technology which is emerging at the present.

What we learned

We learned many stuff including basics of Solidity, how a blockchain works, how a transaction occurs and how to use XDC remix and XDCPay and also got an idea about the next generation necessity
