Background & Challenge
In today’s globalized workforce, companies are receiving thousands of applications from candidates around the world. Manually reviewing resumes and portfolios to identify talent that aligns with a company’s strategic goals and cultural values is time-consuming and prone to bias. There is a growing need for intelligent, scalable, and fair recruitment solutions.
Solution Overview
We propose an AI-powered recruitment assistant built on AWS Generative AI technologies to support talent acquisition teams in selecting the most suitable candidates globally. This assistant automates and enhances key stages of the hiring process:
- Candidate Profile Analysis
Automatically extracts and analyzes information from resumes (PDF/Word) and GitHub profiles using Amazon Textract, Amazon Comprehend, and Amazon Bedrock. Identifies technical skills, project experience, and behavioral traits. Generates a fit score based on alignment with company strategy, values, and role requirements.
- Fit Score-Based Filtering
Uses predefined criteria reflecting the company’s strategic priorities and cultural values. Calculates multiple dimensions of fit: Skill Match, Cultural Fit, and Growth Potential. Ranks and filters candidates accordingly.
- Interview Support
Generates tailored interview questions for each candidate using Amazon Bedrock. Summarizes interview conversations in real-time to assist decision-making. Provides insights and recommendations for hiring managers.
AWS Technology Stack
Amazon Agent Core: Generative AI for resume analysis, question generation, and summarization. Amazon Textract / Comprehend: Document parsing and natural language understanding. Amazon DynamoDB: Candidate data and scoring storage.
