Accomplishments we are proud of include the development of a woocommerce plugin to integrate the specific ecommerce merchant service provider I selected for transactions. The merchant service provider offered an enticing cost per transactions for echecks that was essential to the success of our scalability based on lower prices attracting new clients. The plugin was developed outside of our team but Leigh managed its development and I have the plugin code which may be useful to other ecommerce projects.
Purchasing wild seafood online is often expensive. Community Supported Seafood includes free delivery with purchase and uses a zip code plug in to verify delivery availability before purchase and lengthy user input requests.
We build it using Wordpress and its easy for me to track sales and update products.
Next, I'd like to expand community Supported Seafood for us by other local distributors throughout the country. While it currently registers members for purchasing accounts the next step will be registering accounts for sales accounts.
I'd like to Community Supported Seafood to remain fisherman owned and function as a nationwide tool for sales users/owners to communicate and market collectively.
