Our WSU mobile parking app will make finding and reserving parking spots effortless and quick! With our app, you can easily search for available parking spots near you without a hassle.

Inspiration

Finding a parking spot on campus and nearby is pretty hard for most people, and it takes more time that people actually thought. So creating a new, innovative parking app would make our lives more convenient.

What it does

Check for a parking lot nearby and show total availability at that spot.

How we built it

We built it using Java programming language and some SQL with Android studio as our IDE.

Challenges we ran into

There were many challenges that we ran into and one of them is to make our backend communicate with the frontend.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Being able to learn and try something new with the team.

What we learned

Teamwork and planning are really important.

What's next for WSU Parking App

We plan to improve the UI and add more functionalities to it to make it even better.
