We were trying to figure out a practical application

What it does

Allows a user to measure the length and width or radius of an arbitrary number of rooms on an arbitrary number of floors on arbitrary buildings

How I built it

Python to connect the US to the pi. Python class to make adding and accessing the MariaDB easy.

Actual miniaturization Probably replacing the ultrasonic sensors with more accurate range finders
