Inspiration
Most people are on social media too much, so we decided to make a new, simpler social media site where you only post a single word.
What it does
WRD allows you to post a single word to convey all of your emotions at the time. You can also add an emotion tag to your post.
How we built it
We build WRD with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend, and Python for the backend.
Challenges we ran into
We were having trouble with the server at first, but we eventually fixed it. We were also having trouble managing the messages.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Making a nice looking website.
What we learned
We learned more JavaScript while building WRD.
What's next for WRD
We want to split tagged posts into different pages devoted to similarly tagged posts.
