Inspiration
We saw the design capabilities of Wix with Velo, so we decided to create a web app that calculates how much water you have to drink every day with an animated background of a waterfall.
What it does
Our app takes multiple factors into consideration, including one's sex, BMI, and local weather conditions to calculate how much water one needs to drink in a day.
How we built it
We built our web app on the Wix platform with the Velo dev tools. Though Wix is a templating tool, we were able to inject custom code through Velo, and as a result we were able to use third party APIs like Open Weather Map API
Challenges we ran into
One challenge we ran into was adjusting our workflow for the Wix platform. Our team is more accustomed to creating websites from scratch, so this experience is a valuable experience for us.

We are proud of what we were able to do with the design of the website.
What we learned
A valuable skill we learned was being able to adapt to other platforms.
What's next for Wóta
In the future we could add a user account system.
