As college students we often fall victim to consumerism and overspending. That was our inspiration for Wealth-Wait
What it does
Wealth-Wait is a Chrome extension that acts as a real-time financial guardian. By intercepting "Checkout" or "Buy Now" clicks, it instantly triggers a popup. Once you’ve set your monthly budget, the extension calculates the true opportunity cost of your purchase, visualizing how that money could grow over time or how many "real-world" essentials it represents.
How we built it
Google Gemini helped us with ideating, while Gemini AntiGravity provided the "Hands" (the build and the test). This combination allowed us to move from a raw idea to a fully styled, functional browser extension.
