WORLDLAW is an experimental workbench for comparing executable physical models and challenging predictions against evidence. Its discovery studio imports observations, fits alternatives from a finite library of scalar torque laws, compares residuals and held-out predictions, and executes conditional dynamics.
The application runs locally with Node.js and browser computation. A server-side NVIDIA Nemotron integration proposes candidate physical law terms through Nebius Token Factory. The app validates proposals against a fixed catalog, fits coefficients separately, and compares held-out error; model-generated code is not executed.
Examples are synthetic and results depend on explicit assumptions. Challenges include constraining generated candidates and distinguishing a good fit from a physically transferable law. Next steps include testing with real mechanisms and improving experiment selection.
