Endurance sports information is fragmented across countries, organizers, registration systems, websites, and social media. Athletes often struggle to find reliable race information, while organizers need better ways to reach global participants.

WorldEndurance.ai was created to build an AI-powered global infrastructure for endurance sports.

What it does

WorldEndurance.ai helps users:

• Discover marathon, trail, triathlon, cycling, and other endurance events worldwide
• Access continuously updated race information
• Search current and historical race calendars
• Allow organizers to claim, verify, and maintain official race data
• Provide structured datasets and APIs to partners
• Connect race discovery with registration, travel, media, and commercial services

Unlike traditional third-party listing platforms, WorldEndurance.ai is designed as a dynamic data and industry platform rather than a static event directory.

How we built it

We developed an AI-assisted data pipeline that collects and processes race information from multiple public and partner sources.

AI is used to help clean, deduplicate, standardize, validate, translate, and continuously update event information.

Different countries and sources can connect to one unified global data structure, allowing the platform to scale market by market.

Challenges we ran into

The biggest challenge is data quality.

Race information may be incomplete, duplicated, multilingual, inconsistent, or frequently changed. Dates, registration status, locations, and official links can all change over time.

We learned that collecting more data is not enough. The real challenge is combining high coverage with accuracy, verification, and continuous updating.

What we learned

AI can significantly reduce the manual work required to build and maintain large-scale sports data infrastructure.

We also learned that the strongest platform is not simply a race database. The greater opportunity is to connect:

This creates value for athletes, organizers, and business partners at the same time.
