Inspiration
The inspiration for this game was largely from the current COVID pandemic. We understand that travel plans have been put to a stop, and the opportunity to learn more about the wonders of the world with that.
What it does
Experience a feeling rather likely to that of reading a book, but through a videogame! The goal of World's Wonders is to allow players an experience similar to that of traveling. Players will be able to engage in thrilling quests with mythological creatures from around the world, complete their quests, and earn the powerful knowledge of their origin and history.
How I built it
Illustrated using Photoshop. Designed using Unity3D Engine. Programmed using C# language in Visual Studio.
Challenges I ran into
Time restraint made it incredibly difficult to include a lot of content, so we had to settle for a prototype.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We both got to learn something new from working this project. As first time hackers, we're simply proud to have pumped out a project we worked really hard on for this hackathon, despite the time constraints put on us.
