Inspiration

We wanted to make traveling more easy and also we were trying to figure out where to travel during spring break.

What it does

When you click on a country on the world map you will receive information about the country and then you can generate a travel itinerary made by AI.

How we built it

We used a python and javascript backed end with an html and css front end where we also implemented flask. We also implemented AI into it.

Challenges we ran into

We had a hard time connected the world map to the front end and also the svg file was not working well with our csv file so we spent time trying to get these files to correspond together.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are accomplished that we were able to implement AI into this project while also having a functional world map that connects to a csv data set.

What we learned

We learned more about how to use open ai and also we learned how to implement flask with python.

What's next for World Planner

We want to add the ability to select specific cities. Another thing was to implement a 3d globe using globe.gl for a better user interface.
