Have you ever wondered about the origin of Petr? Adventure awaits.

Inspiration

We were inspired by Final Fantasy, Oregon Trail, Slay the Spire and Petrs.

What it does

Players will start with a regular Petr. Then, they will change to different scenes where they may battle with other Petrs, be forced to make a decision, or have a unique encounter.

How We built it

We built this project in Python and used the tkinter library. We displayed most of our information with Labels and move through each scene with a click of the keyboard.

Challenges We ran into

We had a lot of modules, so we could work without interfering with each other's work. But, this led to a lot of problems with importing that slowed us down a lot.

Accomplishments that We're proud of

We're proud of having a working battle system and being able to transfer between different scenes. Tkinter made it difficult to transition smoothly, but we were able to find a solution.

What I learned

We learned how to better use tkinter and how to implement different game mechanics. We also learned how to fix merge conflicts in Github.

What's next for World of Petr

We want to make an open world in the beginning to choose between different quests. Also, we would like to add more Petrs and bosses.
