Inspiration
We were inspired by the Geneva problem statement
What it does
There will be more details on our ReadMe in our github, but essentially, the app creates basic users (1-20) with randomly generated lists of candy. Once that is done, you can either add your own custom candy list or have it randomly generated like the previous users. After this, you can decided whether or not you want to trade your candy with the basic users that were originally created. You can trade as many times as you would like.
How we built it
We build the back-end code with the help of Java and we tried building the website interface with Reactjs, HTML and CSS.
Challenges we ran into
We tried to take our app and make a version of it in ReactJs, but as none of us had used it before, it turned out to be a challenge. In the end we weren't able to get a presentable version of it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We got to learn the real world problems and we had really good time during the project building, New challenges was the best part, despite the fact that none of us had a prior experience of java, reacts, or website building we learned everything from scratch and made the part of the project work. Last but not least, The fact that our app does work.
What we learned
We have never heard of a hash map and reactjs before today but did learned in a very short span of time.
What's next for Sw33tT00th
We are proud of the teams hard work and because of the time limitation we are planning to expand our knowledge and accept this challenge of completing the project at our own time and take our idea to real world.
