Inspiration
Our inspiration comes from people living in foreign countries. This website can provide them with the birthday customs of each country, so that they can better integrate into the life abroad.
What it does
This website can provide you with birthday customs in other countries so that you can know exactly how to attend your friend's traditional birthday. It can also provide information for people who are interested in other countries. And also you can post how your family celebrated birthdays on the website, to help peoples to have ideas about diferents ways to celebrate birthdays.
How we built it
We built it using php with wordpress, and we also try html and css fot the project.
Challenges we ran into
We had no programming experience before this, so when we started working on the site on the first day, we were a little overwhelmed. Fortunately, we found a solution that worked for us. It was a little difficult at first, but it worked.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We were very proud that we had done what was a difficult challenge for us, and when we finished the site, we were very happy that we had succeeded.
What we learned
We learned a lot about programming (HTML, CSS, PHP...etc.) and the importance of sticking to one thing.
What's next for World Birthdays Traditions
We will continue to update this site so that we can help more people who need this kind of information.
