Inspiration
Our Inspiration for this project came from the fact that so many people that we know struggle with financial insecurity and have trouble looking for jobs on regular sites like, LinkedIn. This is an ordinary problem that we hoped to elevates because we believe everyone requires access to clear and cohesive information on financial information for different jobs. This will ensure that our users can have a detailed comparisons of salary, benefits, and even rankings to show them the number 1 pick. Our app fixes this problem because it finds jobs for our users and compares them based on the salary, benefits, and more.
What it does
The app compares different jobs based on the user's input on what job they would like and then compares those jobs based on financial information to make sure that our user makes the best decision.
How we built it
We built our app based on Swift and Swift IU. We also used API keys to utilize various third-party APIs for job listings, salary data, and company reviews.
Challenges we ran into
We ran into a couple of runtime errors with our code including figuring out how to debug our code and keeping a cohesive design.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
After completing our app, we became proud of the seamless user experience we created. Most of all, we were thrilled with finally launching the app with a variety of different features that recieved positive feedback during our user testing.
What we learned
We learned a lot through this coding project such as the importance of user feedback in shaping product features and how crucial it was to remain open and responsive to users need. We made sure to ensure our app is user-friendly while also remaining powerful with our technical functionality.
What's next for WorkWise
Looking ahead, we plan to introduce new features such as advanced analytics for user progress for an even more detailed experience. We also plan to continuously gather user feedback to make sure our app is aligned with our users experiences and needs.
